Dr. Andreas Tilch

I came into contact with homeopathy as a young medical student in 1984 and have been a homeopath with heart and soul ever since. I have been practising as a homeopathic general practitioner for more than 30 years and have been looking after many families as a GP for three generations.

My later teacher and friend of the heart, the great homeopath Jayesh Shah from Mumbai (India), first told me about the astonishingly far-reaching positive effects of the homeopathic remedy Streptococcinum. After having had amazing, extraordinarily positive experiences with this remedy since 2015, initially with individual patients, but soon also with myself, I have also been using Streptococcinum in my own practice – with more than 1500 patients – as part of the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses (over the last 8 years).

At the beginning of 2021, I initiated a new production of Streptococcinum from C5 lactose trituration. It became clear that the collective treatment of entire family systems with ‘Streptococcus pyogenes Tilch’ was setting the course for better coexistence.

In May 2022, I was given the honour of giving a much-noticed major lecture at the annual conference of the Central Association of Homeopathic Doctors of Germany, where I presented my book “Von der Urangst zur Verbundenheit – Streptokokkinum, der homöopathische Wegbereiter”, which has been published by Similimum Verlag (www.similimum.de) (now a homeopathic bestseller). The book is expected to be published in English in spring 2026.

Streptococcinum-Tilch is now used on every continent. In September 2024, I had the honour of presenting the new remedy to homeopaths from all over the world at the international conference ‘Unleashing Homeopathy’ in Bali, Indonesia. Numerous experienced colleagues enthusiastically told me about their own amazing treatment successes with ‘Strep-Tilch’, as the remedy is often called in English-speaking countries. There is great international interest in the remedy: I have now been able to teach homeopathic doctors and self-users in Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Hungary, Australia and Russia via online connections. It was a particular honour for me to hold a two-day seminar in April 2025 in honour of the 270th birthday of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, at the invitation of the Hahnemann Centre in his birthplace of Meißen, Germany.

Together with Gabi Schörk and the Glücksknirpse I created an Online-Course about Streptococcinum-Tilch.  My aim with this course is to create an awareness of the amazing possibilities that the use of Streptococcinum-Tilch offers for many people and for many family systems. Ingrained patterns of stress, frustration and victimisation can be set in motion and holistic processes of further development and growth can be stimulated – towards a deeper, loving connection with oneself and with others.
